Members from the BEAT CF research team attended the 2019 Australasian CF conference, Perth back in August. We were able to schedule a face to face meeting with BEAT CF investigators attending to get feedback on the platform construction and data analysis.

Special thank you to the investigators who took time out from the conference to attend this meeting. Lead investigators Tom Snelling & Andre Schultz spoke about BEAT CF at both the lay and medical conferences and Grace Currie from the BEAT CF operations team was able to speak to several clinical interest groups over the medical conference to keep them informed of study developments. Overall, it was a great success and BEAT CF seemed to be mentioned quite frequently as a trial to watch. Thank you to Cystic Fibrosis Australia and the conference committee for organising a great conference.
